Brad Schwing

With a passion for culinary excellence and a wealth of experience, Chef Brad Schwing started his career in the vibrant restaurant scene of Buffalo, NY. Through his travels, he has had the opportunity to discover and appreciate an array of cuisines, ranging from the rugged terrain of Alaska to the picturesque Sun Valley, Idaho, and the vibrant flavors of Key West, Florida. These experiences have influenced his distinctive cooking style.
In 2016 he settled in Charlottesville, Virginia, with his wife, Caren. His talent and dedication quickly earned him the role of Executive Sous Chef at the esteemed Clifton Inn, where he played a pivotal role in crafting exceptional dining experiences. Building on his success, Chef Brad became the Head Chef for Sandy Motley Catering, further showcasing his innovative approach to food.
He co-founded Redbud Catering to deliver beautiful and mouthwatering meals bringing the restaurant directly to your venue and ensuring unforgettable culinary experiences.

Martha Patterson

Having established deep roots in Maine, Chef Martha Patterson discovered her culinary haven in the Virginia Piedmont region, which she has proudly called home for almost three decades. Her remarkable journey in the food industry began with her involvement in the party rental department, where she honed her organizational skills and developed a keen eye for delivering exceptional service.
Fueled by her unwavering love for food, Chef Martha transitioned into the role of a prep and event cook, where her culinary talents truly blossomed. Leading events for Roadside Chive Catering, she orchestrated memorable experiences, showcasing her ability to merge impeccable flavors with meticulous attention to detail. The fusion of her catering experience and time spent working in various restaurant kitchens catalyzed Chef Martha's partnership with Chef Brad on creating Redbud, which focuses on bringing a detailed and intimate dining experience to your next event.
